Visión Plena Psychology & Consulting PLLC is operated by Dr. Rosaura Orengo-Aguayo, PhD, a licensed psychologist in the State of Texas. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website — not through our clinical services, which are governed separately by HIPAA and Texas law.
We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how your information is used. The short version: we collect only what you give us, we use it only to respond to you, and we never sell it.
Important: This website is for general information and inquiries only — it is not a confidential clinical channel. Please do not include health information, diagnoses, or treatment details in any message you send through this site. All clinical records and protected health information are maintained through TherapyNotes, our HIPAA-compliant platform, under a signed Business Associate Agreement.
When you fill out our contact form, we collect only what you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number, general location, reason for contact, and your message. We do not collect any health or clinical information through this website, and we ask that you not include any.
This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics software. We do not track your browsing behavior.
The information you submit is used only to respond to your inquiry and direct you to the right service. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Formspree processes our contact form submissions and delivers them to our email. Formspree reports SOC 2 Type II compliance. Their databases are encrypted at rest using AES-256, and network traffic between your browser and Formspree is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. They do not sell submission data. TherapyPortal (therapyportal.com), provided by TherapyNotes, LLC, powers our client portal for scheduling and secure clinical communication. When you use the portal, you are in TherapyNotes' HIPAA-compliant environment, governed by their own privacy practices.
All form submissions are encrypted in transit and handled through a SOC 2-certified service. Access to your information is limited to authorized practice staff. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals as required under Texas Business and Commerce Code § 521.053 — within the timeframes required by applicable law.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any information you have submitted through this website at any time by emailing info@mivisionplena.com. If you are an established client seeking access to your clinical records, that is handled through TherapyNotes in accordance with your Notice of Privacy Practices.
This website is not directed to children under 13. Under federal law (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Services for minors are coordinated through a parent or guardian and managed through our secure clinical systems. If you believe a child has submitted a contact form, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
As a Texas-licensed psychologist, Dr. Orengo-Aguayo is bound by confidentiality obligations under the Texas Occupations Code Chapter 501, Texas Health & Safety Code Chapter 611, HIPAA, and the APA Ethics Code. These obligations apply to information shared within the clinical relationship — not to general website inquiries, which are handled as described in this policy.
